Enjoy learning Japanese! 【学習内容】 This course is offered to those who can speak about themselves or familiar topics with complete but relatively simple sentences in Japanese and wish to develop their skills to manage unfamiliar but general or social topics with accurate, complex sentences. We provide students with various topics for discussion along with useful words, expressions, sentence patterns and supportive grammatical explanations in order to produce full, coherent statements in complex sentences so that they become more confident and comfortable with Japanese conversation. This course is suitable for those who completed a basic level of Japanese and passed N4 of JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test), though not an essential requirement. 【学習方法】 Individual, pair and small group work, discussion and lecture. Topics to discuss will be initially taken from familiar issues decided by instructor and gradually shifted to general, unfamiliar or social issues, which may be suggested by instructor or sometimes by students. 【学習形態】 Instructions and explanations are given in simple Japanese and/or in English. 【受講者に期待する達成レベル】 At the end of this course the participants will be able to: ●Understand and engage in conversations on general, unfamiliar or social topics ●Actively expand conversation on slightly complex topics ●Express coherently what they want to say using accurate words and phrases of lower intermediate level
